ABOUT ME

I'm a seasoned advocate for under-served Hispanic youth (internationally and locally) and their educational needs, with a focus on uniting community efforts under the goal of the student's success.

I've worn many hats in my career --marketing strategist, outreach coordinator, researcher, data analyst, advisor, tutor, researcher, translator/interpreter and mentor. However, experiences that I’d most like to highlight are:

• Managing a $750,000 annual programming budget for entire K-12 district

• Advising 800+ students in all phases of the college and scholarship application process, including, editing applications and preparing for SAT/ACT’s

• Student acceptances to nationally-recognized programs including Coca Cola, Questbridge, Gates Millennium, Michelle Obama Ambassadors, and Hispanic Scholarship Fund

B.A. in Psychology from Stanford University
